Together, MCM and ACE are bigger than the sum of their parts
For years, Michigan Custom Machines and Automation Controls & Engineering, LLC (ACE) have frequently pooled their technical expertise in testing, automation, engineering, and controls systems to help their common customers find new ways to grow. Now, the two Michigan-based companies are joining forces as one entity to expand both their own business and that of their clients.
MCM and ACE recently announced that they have become one company capable of servicing a broader client base in a variety of industries, from automotive to industrial to aeronautics. The two companies are working together to more efficiently and effectively serve clients as they will be able to offer their combined value propositions and capabilities while streamlining shared costs.
“Uniting our teams streamlines our shared operations, with absolutely no changes or interruptions to existing contracts, billing and payments, ordering, operations, or other logistics,” says Mike Schena, president of MCM. “We understand better than anyone that as the reliability of your product goes, so goes your reputation. Our goal remains to ensure both are impeccable.” There will be no change in billing, contracts, proposals, or customer relationships for existing customers as the two companies work together to on delivering the combined value proposition for future work as a single entity
For more than 27 years, MCM has been providing engineering solutions for automotive and industrial component manufacturers, with a focus on advanced testing solutions that ensure the quality and durability of products and the efficiency of production and development. Their expertise has been in hydraulics, controls, electronics, fixture design, and line integration, but they pride themselves on being open to any challenge.
“We still haven’t seen a challenge too big or too niche,” says Schena, “because we continuously seek opportunities to deepen our expertise and expand our capabilities for the sake of our clients.”
Meanwhile, ACE has spent decades building a reputation for advances in automation controls, robotics, and engineering. President Pete Lazic and his team work closely with customers to design automation solutions that will help them exceed technical and financial goals. From discovery to concept, installation to continued support, ACE stands shoulder to shoulder with their clients to ensure fluid communication and ease of use and transition.
Another thing the two companies have long had in common is the scalable capability and experience of a larger company with the nimbleness and personal touch of a small business. Both MCM and ACE were built from the ground up. And together, they now offer an even broader scope of solutions, while retaining personal relationships and dedication they were each founded with along with the ambition to partner with clients, both existing and new, in fearless innovation.
