High Pressure Leak Test

Description

This machine was designed to test the interface between two fuel system components in the remanufacturing process. The parts are designed to seal by using a metal on metal seal only. Our machine allows the operator to test the integrity of these components in a production capacity. The operator places the parts into a nest for testing, where a fixed bar code scanner will scan the QR code on the part, to later be attached to the test result data. The safety door automatically closes and the parts are clamped for testing. The interface between the two parts to be tested are loaded to a known force and the interface is pressurized to the target pressure. Fluid temperature and cabinet are temperature controlled as any change can cause correlation issues. Results and graph are showed on the screen to the operator and results are logged to a database.
