End Of Line OCV Tester

Description

This machine is an End of Line (EOL) tester for testing oil control valves that are used to activate and deactivate an engine compression brake. The product is manually loaded by an operator into the test machine and the product is automatically tested for flow, leakage, response time and current draw. The results are collected and stored with the corresponding bar code information for warranty tracking.

In the event of a failed part, the machine requires the operator to place the rejected part into a reject bin inside of the test area before allowing another part to be tested. To help poke-a-yoke the process, a through beam in the reject tray must see a transition as well as the operator acknowledging the failure.
